Call Waiting alerts you with a beep during a telephone conversation that another call is waiting to be answered. You can place your present call on hold and answer the incoming call.
|CANCEL CALL WAITING|
You must dial a selected code (*70) before dialing the telephone number you desire. This will cancel call waiting for the duration of a single call. You must activate the code each time you desire to cancel the call waiting service. To activate, dial *70.
Caller ID allows you to view the caller’s name and number before you answer the call. If your telephone is not equipped with Caller ID features, it will be necessary to have a Caller ID box before this service can be received.
|CALLER ID WITH CALL WAITING|
Caller ID with Call Waiting alerts you with a beep during a telephone conversation that another call is waiting to be answered. It also allows you to view the calling party’s name and number while on an existing call. Your conversation will be interrupted for a brief moment (less than one second) while this information is being received. It will be necessary to have a Caller ID box before this service can be received.
|ON SCREEN CALLER ID|
On Screen Caller ID can be added to any video package SCTC Digital Entertainment offers. Caller ID information will be displayed on your television screen when you receive a call.
*On Screen Caller ID is $1.00 with the Streamline Package. There will be no charge with the other packages.
Call Forwarding Variable allows you to redirect all calls to another telephone number. To activate, dial *72. To cancel, dial *73.
Call Forwarding Fixed allows you to forward one (1) preselected number to another telephone number. This feature is activated at the SCTC office.
Call Forwarding Busy Line allows you to forward your calls to another telephone number when your station is busy. To activate, dial *90. To cancel, dial *91.
Call Forwarding Don’t Answer allows you to forward your calls to another telephone number when you do not answer after five (5) rings. To activate, dial *92. To cancel, dial *93.
Remote Activation of Call Forwarding allows you to activate and deactivate your assigned call forwarding features from a remote location.
Note: No matter which type of call forwarding you choose, if you forward to a long distance number, you will be charged the long distance fees in reverse. These fees will be billed by your long distance provider at your plan rate.
|THREE WAY CALLING|
Three-Way Calling allows you to add a third party to an existing telephone conversation.
|TOLL CONTROL WITH PIN OVERRIDE|
Toll Control with PIN Override allows you to prevent long distance calls from being made from your telephone line. It can be overridden on a per call basis by dialing a four digit PIN you have chosen and given to our Customer Service Representatives. Incoming and local calls are not affected by activation of this feature.
Privacy Defender is Anonymous Call Screening & Telemarketing Call Screening. This helps cut down and/or eliminate anonymous phone calls, where no Caller ID information is provided, and telemarketing phone calls. Privacy Defender must be set up from your home phone.
Note: This service will intercept and deny the automated reminders used by most doctor’s offices, schools, or dentists due to the automated callers inability to press 8.
|SPEED CALLING (8)|
Speed calling allows you to call pre-selected telephone numbers quickly by dialing an assigned code. Dial *74, listen for 3 beeps, enter 1-digit code, 2-9, plus the telephone number. Hang up. Number will be stored.
|SPEED CALLING (30)|
Speed calling allows you to call pre-selected telephone numbers quickly by dialing an assigned code. Dial *75, listen for 3 beeps, enter 2-digit code, 20 – 49, plus the telephone number. Number will be stored.
|FIND ME FOLLOW ME|
With Find Me Follow Me, calls will ring up to 6 different numbers beginning with your home, one at a time in the order you choose to ensure you receive the call. You must provide SCTC with the numbers in the order you want them to ring for the service to be activated.
Note: Your home number will be charged long distance if the answered number must be dialed using the 1+area code from your home.
With SimRing, you can have up to 6 different numbers, including your home number, ring simultaneously when your home is called. To activate you must give SCTC the numbers you want to ring when you are called.

|PERSONAL RINGING (TEEN RING)|
Personal Ringing (Teen Ring) allows you to have up to three telephone numbers with unique ringing patterns (and unique Call Waiting tones, if you have the Call Waiting feature).
Warm Line allows you to call a pre-designated telephone number or emergency service by simply lifting the handset. If you do not wish to dial the pre-designated number, you may dial any other number before 15 seconds have elapsed.
Note: You select the pre-designated number when you order your Warm Line service. To change this number, you must contact SCTC. Cordless telephones may require pressing a “talk” button to activate this feature.
Hot Line allows you to call a pre-designated telephone number or emergency service by simply lifting the handset.
Note: You select the pre-desifgnated number when you order your Hot Line service. To change this number, you must contact SCTC. The Hot Line does not have a dial. When the receiver is lifted, within 10 seconds, the call is automatically routed to a pre-designated telephone number. No other calls can be made from this line.
Repeat Dialing allows you to dial a code to have your phone continuously attempt to redial a busty number that you tried to call. When the line is free, you will be alerted with a special ringing and a call will automatically be made. You can also use Repeat Dialing to redial the last number you called. To activate, dial *66. To cancel, dial *86.
Repeat Dialing may be automatically accessed with a per-use charge.
Call Return allows you to dial a code and have a call automatically returned to the last party who called or attempted to call you. To activate, dial *69; To cancel, dial *89.
Call Return may be automatically accessed with a per-use charge.
Call Trace allows you to automatically request a trace of an obscene, threatening or harassing call. After receiving such a call, you simply dial a special code to have the calling party’s phone number stored at SCTC. Press *57, then listen for tone or announcement.
Note: After requesting a Call Trace, you should call SCTC if you want the call to be investigated further. Please call before the end of the next business day. It is important that you activate Call Trace immediately after the offending call. If you delay taking action and receive a subsequent incoming call, Call Trace will not trace the correct number. If a call waiting tone is received during a call that is to be traced, tracing will occur on the call waiting call rather than the original calling number.
|PREFERRED CALL FORWARDING|
Preferred Call Forwarding allows you to create a list of phone numbers that are to be forwarded when they call you. When you activate this service, and a call arrives from a phone number that is on your list, the call is forwarded. All other calls will ring your phone in the normal fashion. To activate, dial *63.
|CALL SCREENING (SELECTIVE CALL REJECTION)|
Call Screening allows you to create a list of phone numbers from which you do not wish to receive calls. Calls from phone numbers on your list are sent to an announcement that informs the caller that you are not receiving calls at this time.
Call Hold allows you to put any call in progress on hold and make another call, also allows you to alternate between two calls. Flash line and Dial *76. To return to original call or alternate between calls, flash line and Dial *76.
|CALLER ID BLOCK|
Call Block allows you to dial a code which will prevent your phone number from being made available to the party you are calling on a particular phone call.
To activate Caller ID Block By Call, dial *67.
|SPECIAL CALL ACCEPTANCE|
Special Call Acceptance allows you to screen incoming calls by creating a list of phone numbers from which you are willing to accept calls. Calls from numbers not contained on your list are sent to an announcement that tells them that you are not receiving calls at this time. To use, dial *61.
|PRIORITY (DISTINCTIVE) RINGING|
Priority (Distinctive) Ringing allows you to program your telephone line to ring with a special ringing pattern whenever you are called from a select list of phone numbers. If you also have call waiting, you will hear special call waiting tones when called from numbers on your list.
Voice Mail service from SCTC answeres your calls while you are away or taking another call. You can retrieve your voice messages at anytime whether from your home, cell phone, work, or a remote location, without the need of additional equipment.
|BUSINESS DELUXE VOICEMAIL|
With Deluxe Voicemail, retrieve your voice mail messages by telephone or computer by using our Comportal Software*. You can also listen to your messages, see who has called your home, organize your contact list, and manage calling features all from one web page. Residential may add Find Me Follow Me and/or Fax Gateway for $1.00 each.
*The Comportal Software requires Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 to operate.

|DO NOT DISTURB|
Do Not Disturb allows you to prevent incoming calls from ringing at your station. Only callers who have your Personal Identification Number (PIN) can override the Do Not Disturb feature and ring your telephone. Dial *54 then listen for three beeps to activate.
Note: When Do Not Disturb is activated, callers will receive a busy signal or an announcement. At this time, callers who know your PIN may dial it and ring your telephone.
Do Not Disturb may be automatically accessed with a per-use charge.
Do Not Disturb Telemarketing allows you to prevent unwanted calls from those numbers that show up out-of-area, private or unknown. These callers will be intercepted with an announcement saying, “You have called a number which does not accept calls from unknown callers. All other callers may press one (1) if they wish to complete the call.” This will initially be activated by SCTC.
|ANONYMOUS CALL REJECTION|
Anonymous Call Rejection automatically routes incoming calls marked as “Private” to an announcement. The Announcement indicates that you do not accept private calls. This feature does not block calls labeled “unknown.” To use Anonymous Call Rejection dial *77.
Conference Calling allows you to have more than one called party listen in on the audio portion of a call.
