    Pay Bill Important Update to One-Time Payment Process To enhance security and remain compliant with industry standards, we have partnered with our payment processor to update the way one-time payments are processed. These changes apply to: Over-the-phone payments (including the automated phone system) Payments made with a Customer Service Representative In-person payments Online one-time payments Effective July 14, 2025 , at 5:00 PM EST , one-time payments will no longer require your Account Number and ZIP Code. Instead, you will need to enter your Account Number and the Security Code found on your billing statement. Note: This change does not affect users with a registered online account or those enrolled in autopay. The Security Code will be located on the bottom right corner on the first page of your monthly bill. Please see examples below. If Security Code is not labeled, it will be the number located under the Due Date. SCTC offers several options for paying your bill! Pay Online You can pay online anytime through our online payment portal with a credit card or checking account. Debit or credit card payments accepted for balances/transactions under $500.00. When signing up for the first time to use the payment portal, you will need the Account Number from your bill. Account Numbers beginning with 0464 . SCTC PAYMENT PORTAL Account Numbers beginning with 0474 . PVEC FIBER PAYMENT PORTAL Pay by Phone for SCTC Bill If your Account Number begins with 0464, you can call 1-833-735-2241 . Pay your bill any time by using SCTC's new interactive phone payment system - a free service to all customers. Simply call 1-833-735-2241 and follow the prompts. Please make sure to have your Account Number and Security Code readily available from your bill. **You will not need to enter the first leading 0 (zero) into the system when going online or paying by phone!** Pay by Phone for PVEC Fiber Bill If your Account Number begins with 0474, you can call 1-833-735-2242 . Pay your bill any time by using PVEC Fiber's new interactive phone payment system - a free service to all customers. Simply call 1-833-735-2242 and follow the prompts. Please make sure to have your Account Number and Security Code readily available from your bill. **You will not need to enter the first leading 0 (zero) into the system when going online or paying by phone! ** Automatic Payments/Deductions There are two ways to setup automatic monthly payments: Call our business office at 276-452-9119 or 877-511-0808 . Sign up through our online payment portal. You can make automatic payments with a credit card or checking account. When setting up automatic checking/ACH payments, you must submit a signed voided check.     Navigating SFN TV Now on a Media Player Main Menu When you first open SFN TV Now, you should see the following options: Full Screen Guide Channels Airing Now Recordings Restart TV Search Settings Exit The Channels List, Guide, Recordings, and Favorites options will be used for easier navigation with your SFN TV Now. Guide The Guide shows a listing of channels and the time they are playing. With SFN TV Now Gen 2, you can look ahead, and you can go back and Replay programs that were airing within the past 24 hours. When going to a program at a future time in the Guide, you will be given options to: View the Channel, which will take you to the channel now. Record Autotune at that time to the channel Add that channel to your favorites. When going to a program at a past time in the Guide, you’ll be given the same options, except for Autotune. You can still Play and Record the channel; however, it must be performed within the last 24-hours. Restart TV Much like going to a program in the past from the Guide, the Restart TV option from the Main Menu shows all programs under their respective channel from the past 24 hours in which you can Play and Record Program Options while in Full Screen 123 Displayes a numeric keypad you can enter the CH REC Opens recording options Restart Circle Restarts the program from the beginning CH with two arrows Tunes to the previous channel you were on EPG CC Episode Program Guide (TV Guide) Closed Captions 4-dots (last icon) DEBUG DATA - WILL NOT BE USED How to Record You can Record from the Guide or from the program you are watching now by hitting the OK button, then highlighting and going to Record. You can record one episode or series. NOTE: RECORDINGS ARE AUTO-DELETED IN 7 DAYS. Favorites From the Main Menu, scroll down and select Settings, followed by Favorites to create a Favorites List. Once you hit OK on Create Favorite List, you will need to press OK again to enter a name for your Favorite List. After you have entered a name, you simply will just scroll down the channels, press OK to add a heart next to your favorite channels, then, press the right arrow key and OK to finish. After you’ve added your channels, to see your Favorites list, we’ll press OK, then press the back button to go back to the Main Menu and go either to the Guide or Channel List. Once you are in the Guide or Channel List, press and hold the back button for 2 seconds, then release. You will then see your Favorites List at the top, simply highlight it and press OK to see your Channels. From here, you can Remove channels from your Favorites List, by pressing OK on one of the programs within the Favorites. To add channels to your Favorites from All Channels, you will follow the same procedure by pressing and holding the OK button on the episode/program for 2 seconds then releasing, followed by Add to Favorites.     SFN TV NOW Compatible Device List When signing up for SFN TV NOW through Scott County Telephone Cooperative (SCTC) or Powell Valley Electric Fiber (PVEC Fiber), you have the option of renting a Roku Streaming Stick 4K for an additional $3.00 per month lease fee. With this lease option, you are covered in the event of a faulty unit and free replacement should anything happen to the unit.*(Terms apply) Roku Streaming Devices Roku Streaming Stick 4K Roku Ultra LT Roku Streaming Stick 4K+ Roku Ultra Amazon Devices Amazon Fire TV Cube Fire TV Stick (1st Gen) Fire TV Stick 4K MAX (2nd Gen) Apple Streaming Devices Apple TV 4K Current devices that are unsupported by SFN TV NOW Devices that have been labeled as "Best Effort" by SFN TV Now are devices that the manufacturer no longer supports with Software/Firmware updates to address any issues that have been discovered. SFN TV Now, will attempt to resolve any issues discovered, however, no new builds or updates will be delivered to these devices.
